Eva è al rifugio da alcuni anni. È arrivata da adulta, probabilmente abbandonata da un cacciatore. Quando è arrivata, aveva un occhio ferito e una vista limitata nell'altro, rendendola parzialmente cieca. Inoltre, è risultata positiva alla leishmaniosi, per cui ha ricevuto delle cure. Ha anche avuto occasionali crisi. Attualmente non assume farmaci antiepilettici, ma stiamo monitorando per capire se gli episodi restano rari o tendono ad aumentare.
Nonostante le sue difficoltà mediche, lo spirito di Eva è davvero splendente. È un cane incredibilmente gioioso e affettuoso, sempre desideroso di connettersi con le persone e con gli altri cani. Fiorisce in branco, correndo e giocando come se avesse una vista perfetta. La sua personalità solare e il suo entusiasmo per la vita sono davvero ispiratori.
Eva sarebbe una compagna straordinaria per chi comprende i suoi problemi di salute e desidera offrirle le cure e il supporto di cui ha bisogno.

Eva has been at the shelter for a few years now. She arrived as an adult, likely abandoned by a hunter. When she came to shelter, she had an injured eye and limited vision in the other, making her visually impaired. She also tested positive for leishmaniasis, for which she has undergone treatment. Additionally, she has experienced occasional seizures. While she is not currently on anti-epileptic medication, we are monitoring to see if these episodes remain rare or become more frequent.
Despite her medical challenges, Eva’s spirit shines. She is an incredibly joyful and affectionate dog, always eager to connect with both people and other dogs. She flourishes in a pack, running and playing as if her vision were perfect.
Her sunny personality and zest for life are truly inspiring.
Eva would be an amazing companion for someone who understands her health issues and is willing to provide her with the care and support she needs.
