Gía, una cagnolina di circa 4 kg, è arrivata al rifugio nel 2022, con anno di nascita stimato intorno al 2020. Era stata avvistata mentre si rifugiava all'interno di un albero cavo, dove una gentile signora le lasciava del cibo. Gía accettava il cibo, ma evitava il contatto con le persone.
Al rifugio si è ambientata bene con alcuni piccoli cani adulti, instaurando un legame speciale con 'Ipod', un maschio anziano e gentile che le trasmette sicurezza. Con i volontari, Gía si avvicina giusto il necessario per accettare qualche premio, per poi allontanarsi di nuovo; tuttavia, la sua crescente curiosità e interesse verso le persone ci fanno sperare che, con pazienza, si aprirà ulteriormente. Il suo percorso verso l’adozione è in corso.

Gía, a tiny dog weighing about 4 kg, arrived at the shelter in 2022, with an estimated birth year of 2020. She had been spotted taking shelter inside a hollow tree, where a kind woman had been leaving her food. While Gía accepted the food, she avoided human contact.
At the shelter, she settled in well with a few small adult dogs and formed a special bond with 'Ipod,' an older, gentle male who gave her a sense of security. With volunteers, Gía approaches just close enough to accept treats before retreating again, but her growing curiosity and interest in people give us hope that, with patience, she’ll open up further. Her journey toward adoption is underway.
